The botanical garden is nearby the nursery: it grows along a “dry-river” including ruins, calcareous rocks and caves.
Thanks to the original design of the garden, visitors are attracted by the natural integration of plants coming from every part of the world.
All the plants share the same conditions typical of Apulia area: no rivers, rare rains, hot temperature, wind....
ROCKY
CHURCHES
The garden is no profit, but it needs to collect money to restore the two rocky churches dated 1.000 A.C. that you will visit during your tour. The ruins, caves and churches witness the existence of old cvilization by recalling unique feelings.
2000 SPECIES
More than 2000 species are present in the garden: they are in continuous growing.
