Hybrid native to southern California, noteworthy in the infinite world of the genus Salvia; this semi-deciduous bush, which can grow up to 1.50m, both in height and in length, it prefers sunny locations and poor and well-drained soils. In late spring and, sometimes even in autumn, it gives an enchanting flowering: loose inflorescences of fragrant tiny lavender-colored flowers arranged in rings of diameter sloping upwards, highly decorative even if faded, able to attract large quantities of butterflies and bees, and if that's not enough, it has lanceolate grey-green leaves with an intense scent.
