Evergreen plant similar to a palm tree, it comes from New Zealand and usually has a single and lightly branched stem, up to 7-10 metres of height. At the top of stem there is a tuft of linear leaves, of a grey-green coolor and with only one nerve. At the beginning of summer, it produces a beautiful and showy inflorescence made of little white and very fragrant flowers, followed by white berries in summer-autumn.
