Small, simple, graceful variety of Sedum reflexum, succulent, perennial and evergreen, with rapid growth and a thick and regular ground cover habit, of European origins: at the maximum of its development it can reach 15 cm height, and it goes as far as covering large surfaces. Rustic and vigorous, it has thin and fleshy stems with an initial erect posture, soon decumbent under the weight of the foliage and creeping on the ground in every possible direction: these branches are completely covered with tiny needle-like leaves of greenish yellow color, sometimes mottled with red because of cold or drought. Between the end of spring and the beginning of summer, slender stems are raised on the plant crowned by small rounded inflorescences composed of minute flowers with 5-petalled corolla, starry and rich in bright yellow stamens, an irrepressible attraction for bees and insects in kind.
