Pretty, small, decorative variety of Sedum spurium, perennial and semi-deciduous, with a rapid growth that can sometimes become invasive, with a compact and rounded ground cover habit, native to Asia: at the maximum of its development it reaches 10 cm height but it can go far beyond in width. It is formed by numerous thin juicy stems, initially erect but then prostrate, oriented in different ways, that make the plant assume a regular, circular shape: on these branches, arranged in an opposite way, there are minute fleshy, glabrous, almost round leaves, with apex opposite to petiole and slightly serrate, dark green in color which, however, sometimes, especially in summer due to drought and in winter due to cold, tends to be tinged with red. In summer the thick carpet of foliage is covered with numerous hemispherical inflorescences composed by minute flowers with 5 starry petals and with gorgeous intense pink stamens in the center.
