Graceful and vigorous hybrid, perennial and semi-deciduous, much appreciated by gardeners, originating from two important parents, Salvia Longis picata and Salvia farinacea. It can grow quickly reaching a maximum height of 1.20 m and a slightly smaller width. Well branched and semi-lignified at the base, it has erect stems with glabrous and thin dark green leaves, opposite and ovate with slightly serrated margins and acute apex. From the beginning of summer and until late autumn, it continuously produces at the apex of the branches showy and slender inflorescences, even more than 30 cm long and with a sinuous shape, formed by small indigo blue flowers, supported by dark purple calyxes, greedily visited by bees, butterflies and insects in general.
