Succulent and evergreen plant native to Mexico. Rosette-shaped, it has fleshy and robust leaves with thorny apex and edges. It's a quite common plant in the Mediterranean area and it reaches massive proportions, giving the garden a special and exotic charm. When settled, it produces long and sturdy flower stems stimulating the plant to produce new shoots from the base. It is suitable both for coastal gardens and domestic ones. It could be cultivated in pots too.
