It’s a big evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean area, ideal to create thick hedges but also excellent as single specimen. It has a good resistance to both heat and drought in summer, and cold in winter; it resists salt too. The special feature of the plant, in addition to its spring white inflorescences which are like studs, is its light foliage made up of small and soft grey leaves, which makes the plant very decorative throughout the year.
