Gorgeous semi-deciduous tree, up to 7 meters tall, its spring blooming is spectacular. This consists of large and fragrant pink orchid shaped flowers. Leaves are beautiful bright green and characteristic bi-lobed shaped, recalling a butterfly according to some, or hands clasped in prayer according to others. The beautiful foliage makes the plant very ornamental even when it's not blooming.
