Robust monoecious and evergreen conifer, hybrid origin, it is very widespread and appreciated as an ornamental plant. It can grow up to 30-meter tall and can assume a pyramidal shape. The small, dense and dark green leaves, thickened on the twigs, give the plant a compact and thick habit. The tiny, insignificant flowers appear in winter.
