Interesting variety of Lavandula angustifolia, a small evergreen bush with hard and dense foliage and rapid growth; it can grow up to 50 cm tall and it is native to the northwestern Mediterranean area. Strongly branched from the base and with branches that touch the ground (on which the bush seems to fit like a cushion) it has stems, woody at the bottom and herbaceous at the top: the herbaceous ones have persistent, opposite, linear-lanceolate, aromatic and colored leaves grey green. Every year, between late spring and early summer, you can witness the amazing and prolonged flowering of this plant, represented by numerous thin stems that bear an elongated inflorescence at the apex, formed by tiny purplish and bluish flowers, from intense typical scent.
