Fragile, easy and generous succulent, perennial and evergreen, with rapid growth and a thick and rounded ground cover habit, native to Mexico: at the maximum of its development it reaches 15 cm height but manages to cover much larger surfaces. It is formed by numerous thin fleshy stems with an erect course completely covered by abundant juicy leaves, glabrous and shiny, cylindrical in shape with obtuse apex, of a bright light green color, but sometimes, especially in winter or in dry summer periods, tinged with red. Between the end of winter and the beginning of spring, at the apex of the branches, small hemispherical inflorescences appear, these are formed by tiny 5-petalled, star-shaped flowers with gorgeous bright yellow stamens.
