Graceful hybrid of the genus Dianthus, herbaceous, perennial and evergreen, with rather slow growth and thick and regular ground cover: at its maximum development, it does not exceed 15 cm in height, while it can expand much more in width. It is made up of very numerous, very thin stems which, rising slightly from the ground and orienting themselves in every direction, cover the ground in a homogeneous and dense way. The leaves, which completely cover the delicate branches, are opposite and thick, slightly fleshy, with a very narrow, almost needle-like leaf plate with smooth edges and acute apex, and of a beautiful gray-green color. Between spring and autumn, bright pink, almost phosphorescent flowers with five petals with fringed ends bloom abundantly on the glaucous foliage, with a typical, intense carnation scent.
